Hello .. I have a center console from a donor car 1968 firebird convert. the console is going in my 67 camaro the burlwood trim peices i took off it are in real nice shape, i am not going to use them on the camaro and was wondering if anyone has a value that is resonable for a price to sell them for.Their is a ...end peice, center console door, long center peice , and the shifter plate that goes over it. A total of 4 peices. i haven't seen these peices in many of the cars that i've seen and was wondering if these were a option offered for the firebirds in 68. With out the metal burlwood peices its the same console for the 67 camaro...Right?
Must be an automatic console? If it is for a manual I'm interested. PM me if the parts are for a manual. I think you are correct about the base peices being the same for a '67.
i think the '67 camaro and firebird have the same console, but '68 '69 were different. firebirds for those 2 were wood grain look. rectangular hole for automatice. oval for stick shift
If you remove the chrome and burl, you will have a console with no compartment door, no ash tray or cover, and holes on the top where the top plate attached.
'67 Camaro and Firebird are the same and are reproduced. You can get enough by selling a nice burl console to just about cover a new console.
