Hey guys, I have a 68 400 4spd car, It is now stripped down to pretty much a shell, It was put on a rotisserie and sand blasted, and sealed with a two part epoxy, all new bushing, body mounts and disc brake conversion up front. I have the motor, tranny headers exaust and gas tank installed...the metal work is done and all the glass is still out of the car.. where do i go from here??? send it to paint? or install the wiring harrness and get it running? interior last? im stuck on where to go from here.. any direction from here would be great.. thanks in advance everyone
For me my sequence of steps was based on my "equipment" and support vehicles
I prefer to physically drive a car to the body shop as opposed to hauling it there so that determined that body and paint would be after getting it streetable.
If you have the means at your desposal to get the car to a shop for paint - then that's would be what I would do next (as in you own a truck and can get your hands on a flatbed trailer either free or cheap). If you want to drive it to the shop, then...
Either way, interior last. I can drive the car to the shop with the driver seat bolted in and nothing else (a gutted interior).
