Anyone?? Been looking for three years for one. Even if someone has one that could take a picture with a ruler next to it for scale, I could possibly have one made. Thanks!
Gus, None of those are correct. They dont repop the 67-69 firebird TH400 dipstick & tube. I'm using a lokar tube for now but really would like to locate the original part.
The guy never got back to me about the the dip stick tube. I have a TH400 in my new vert and it needs an O-ring installed. Can I get it out without pulling the tranny? I could then take photos and measurements for you.

I'm not sure how much one will clear since I dont have the real deal but would suspect you could get enough clearance to slip on a new o-ring. Thanks for checking into it Gus. I did manage to get pictures and measurements from another member here, so no need to do that. Thanks, Doug
Original Firebird T-400 diptubes are difficult to find, and usually cracked around the o-ring groove. A cheap alternative is to use a standard aftermarket T-400 diptube. Preferably one with the boot seal, not the o-ring. Takes a little bending to get it to fit. I had to take off the tube bracket and weld it in a new place so it would bolt to a bell housing bolt. The end result is much more satisfying than a stock tube. It doesnt have the crazy bend at the transmission making it easier to remove the dipstick. And the cooling lines are easier to access. Just talk to me about removing a stock diptube with trans and engine in the car......

Okay - I think I have one. Actually, I know I have one, it's whether or not it's a factory tube. It came off my 69 Firebird, I'll never use it again. No clue what it's worth. I took some pictures. Do you have an email address I can send them to? It measures 23" end to end using a straight edge.
