I know this has been discussed here before but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. I did see something in the FAQ section under Suspension that talks about adjusting for the correct ride height, but I'm wanting to know what IS the correct height.
I finally got around to putting my set of restored 14x6 Ralley II's I bought from a member here a couple of years ago, as I recently scored a set of F70 bias ply redlines. So it now has OE wheels. I also recently replaced the front coil springs with OE springs, done at a shop that specializes in suspension. I also recently put in the correct exhaust manifolds, though I still have an aluminum intake and not the OE cast one (trying to give as much info here for you to provide feedback).
The issue is that the car is still - in my opinion - too high. So, the question is: how high should these cars be? Does anyone have numbers as to the height from the bottom of the rocker panels to the ground, for example? Any stock pics straight on from the side that you can provide? The car is going back in on Saturday so I'm hoping to have some references by then for the guys at the shop.
Thanks,
Mark
