I purchased a set from Classic last year. They didn't fit at all, waste of time and money. Until the aftermarket comes up with a better product I suggest re chroming an original set.
I got mine from Classic Industries. It fit OK for me. I recall some of the screw holes were just off a bit but I was able to make it work. It was a PITA to get them off and back on.
I would agree that the originals rechromed would be the best.
I bought aftermkt (OER) from Classic 9-10 yrs ago...very disappointed , very hard to fit , and never got them "right"....even with help from my classic car restorer buddy...I`d recommend restoring/re chroming originals , at least you know they fit.
I have a couple of sets I have no use for, 1 set 68 caught fire with the car another set 69 good driver quality, not sure how to tell if original on the 69, the 68 is original just burned, I was starting to sand blast them they were not chrome but a chrome looking paint
