New to the forum, I couldnt bring the picture up but I just purchased a green 69 with gold interior and the power windows and power seat, might be the same one posted here. Bought it in San Carlos just after Christmas. Sold my 2006 Dodge Daytona to buy this Firebird. I think it was a good move.

You're not too far from firebob. He has a '69 as well. Welcome to the site. My in-laws are in Newark, so not too far away. Was just out there for a couple of weeks in November.

Thanks for the welcome 68tpls400. Newark is pretty close to where I live I have been through there several times. Where is firebob from? I just purchased my 69 Firebird and having fun with it. It is a 350 4barrel, with turbo 400 automatic, all original interior with matching numbers on everything. Original power windows and power drivers seat. Paint is midnight green with gold interior. The person I bought it from had it for around a year and a half and bought it from the original owner. Still has the black plates with the original license plate frame from the dealership on it.

Thanks Gus68, I am looking forward to spending time with my 18 year old son and this car. It needs a paint job because I cant stand Earl Sheib's paint jobs and the previous owner had it done there. They painted the door handles and headlights, didnt take anything off. What do you expect for $1,200. Looking forward to chatting with all of you in the future.
Sorry pmdclassics, I have been off the computer a couple of days. Both the windows and seat work. The seat is original but broke down so it needs rebuilding. The windows could use some work like new felt, and some of the windows are slower than some going up.
Your windows sound like they need the channels cleaned and lubed. The old grease dries up and make them hard to go up. Also the rear qtrs are bad to have the rollers break. If you mess with the rear qtrs be careful they break easy (ask me how I know). Congrats on the car.
Restoring a 1968 400 4spd, numbers matching Firebird Coupe, Verdoro Green. Larry My old 68. Wish I had her back.
