I'm finally restoring the dash...several years ago a thief broke in and stole the radio and ashtray...right now I'm just looking for the ashtray. Thank you!
Ready? Never noticed. But never had a 69. Just 67-8's. Are they same design as 68's? Could strip the burlwood and paint it. Guess i'll have to turn in my FB man card now...
Not sure if you could interchange 7-8-9 or not. I have an 8 I just bought. Maybe I'll try to slide it in the 9 today and see if it goes. I'll let ya'll know.

Please report back, I would love to know if it would fit.
It might fit but the outside will not be or look correct. 1967 & 68 were the same I'm pretty sure, but my 69 is different from my 68. I have a 69 ashtray but you would need to buy all three pieces of the set. Plus I'm pretty sure it's black.
I know this thread has not been used for a month but I need a 69 dash ashtray as well. I have the cage that it slides into and the filler part but no tray. I need a black one not wood grain. If anyone has one they are willing to part with PLEASE let me know. Thanks a lot!
I only know two things; I Love Pontiacs and a pair of TAs beats a straight flush every time.
Check this out, looks like year one is now offer them
It does, 80 for the unit, 12 for shipping, and 2.50 for their "package protection". So about 100 bucks for a thin-tin repop from China. I would still like to get a factory one if anyone has one they are willing to part with (pun intended) .

So no one has one?

Performance Years has been saying for about 2 years now that they will "soon" have the correct reproductions of both the walnut grain '67 ashtray and the burlwood '68 ashtray.
I checked today with them via Live Chat and they are still pending.
