I"m thinking of using 15 inch GTA "laced" style wheels on my convertible. I'd paint the laced part of the rim a dark shade of silver/grey or maybe black similar to the Buick GNx's of the mid 80's. anyone know of any pictures of first gen firebirds/camaros with this style of wheel?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. they are not buick wheels, they are firebird GTA wheels that also came in a 15 inch. anyway, I like Bjorn's wheels - I was thinking about those too when I ran across a picture of his car. Unfortunately finding Rallye II's around here is pretty difficult unless you want to pay high $ and restore them. Dare I say I was even thinking of looking at Chevy rally's --haha
the Buick rims on mine are from a Buick SS, like this one in the pic....unfortunately when I found them (at $35 ea!) they were 14s and I didnt know yet that 14 s were going to be hard to find tires ,...this was 11 yrs ago...
