Does anyone know the length of the rear axle studs on a 1968 Firebird with drum brakes?

Parts index shows 7/16"-20 x 1 3/8".

Thanks! I thought the 7/16"-20 x 2-7/8" Moroso wheels studs I bought were a "little" long for my new rear axleshafts.

That sounds like studs for a cast aluminum wheel, not a steel wheel.

you can go to any regular parts store and get the correct studs for your car.if it says moroso,they probably are for racing applications

There are quality studs and crummy studs (no jokes please). Avoid the 99-cent Taiwanese specials as the pitch is sometimes not up to snuff and lug nuts will loosen. Seen this a bunch of times. Ditto on the lug nuts.

GJ, when I first got my bird it had BOTH different length studs mixed on both rear axles! Now tell me that previous owner was focused on task!?

I went to NAPA and bought some American made studs that are 7/16"-20 1-1/2" long. I know they are slightly longer than stock but I've got aftermarket lugnuts that will accommodate this length. BTW they were $2 a piece.
