This may be stupid but need help with fan removal.1968 350 I have taken the bolts out where it goes into the water pump. Does it have to be screwed off? How does the shaft remove from the pump?
Sounds like it is just frozen on the centering shaft on the water pump.Wiggle the fan a bit or a few wacks with a hammer on the fan spacer or mounting flange should do the trick
