Does anyone know if you could get a 76 Trans Am with the Formula hood from the factory? My boss told me of one for sale and the pictures show the Formula hood. Just kind of curious. Thanks, Barry

No.
There is only ONE exception to the rule of T/A's have shakers and Formulas had twin scoop hoods.
The '73 and '74 SD-455 Formulas that came from the factory with shaker hoods.
A 1976 T/A would be 36 years old. It would not be strange for one of the owners to decide he liked the Formula hoods better.
