I am selling my 68 Firebird. Was a 6 cyl, but at some time had a 400 installed. Motor is rebuilt, new muncie M22w from midwestmuncie, new eaton posi w/ 3:55 gears, new hood tach, completely rewired front to back, new door switches, wiper switch and motor, head light switch, brake light switch, every bulb including dash bulbs replaced and work. new manual steering box, new body mounts, engine frame mounts, headers, shocks, alluminum radiator, 100 amp single wire alt, new heater control cables and switch, new dash switch bezels. New sun visors, rear view mirror. New emblems. This is not a trailer queen, but is a very very very nice daily driver. Just completed a 1200 mile trip, no issues, 14 mpg. Drivers side floor has been crudely patched below clutch pedal and behind drivers seat. Head liner is not ripped but hangs down slightly above rear seat. Rear seat does not fit car, it is a fold down and this car requires a standard seat. hood is fiberglass with metal frame, no hinges. Paint looks really good, nice black clearcoat, some minor light scratches and chips that have been touched up. Asking $18,500 OBO. Call Dan @ 304 844-7830 or email drebich@hotmail.com.
Recovered Drivers seat yesterday for local car show, passenger seat has one 2" area where stitching has come undone, I do have the passenger upholstry kit but haven't put it on. Also, new windshield, new wiper arms, new rear bumper. Windows roll up and down, could use new rubber in the future. Rear quarters did not have side marker cut-outs, I do have the side marker lights and housings but don't know exactly where to cut them in so i haven't done that yet.
Also, side view mirrors are new but Firebirdcentral sent me round ones instead of the correct square ones. Argued with them but could not convince them that they are wrong.
Just to let everyone know, this car is still available. I have tried to be as detailed as I can about any issues with the car so there are no surprises, which may make the car sound like it has alot of problems but it actually is very very nice. I am willing to accept reasonable offers. This is Extremely painfull for me, as I really do not want to sell but my situation has changed and have realized that it must go. Thanks again. Thanks all. Actually I may have another project to build in Afghanistan so I will be back in the money. If it wasn't for the [censored] house payment, insurance, utillity payments, gas, and food, I could get my interior done on this car.
If you don't mind me asking. What are you building in Afghanistan? Im a plumbing contractor and have been browsing/thinking about going over there to make some money, then come back(hopefully) and pay off my debts. Ive heard good things, and bad. You have any advice/ stories to tell?
They build EVERYTHING over there. I just built a 10mW power plant for the Afghan National Army(which we will probable be blowing up in the next five years)back in the spring. I'm not in LOGCAP but you may want to get into that, it's more Operations and Maintenance. Companies are Fluor, Bechtel, Contrak International, Inglett and Stubbs, KBR. Google those companies and just look in there career section.

Just an update, the car did not sell on ebay. I had 3000 views and 30 watching but not one bid, which was a little surprising because I had no reserve. But my situation changed again, so I won't have to sell it after all (again). This time for sure!
