They are scheduled to be delivered by ups tomorrow before 5pm. Bit the bullet and bought a set from ram air restorations ent. Tuesday..... got them on eBay with bolts and flanges. Now I would like to find a good deal on pipes without mufflers. Which brand makes the best ones without modifying? Would like something that wouldn't rust up overnight..... any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got my 2.5" LBs AND pipes from Ram air. They fit well, and are not rusting even in the moist west coast atmosphere...
Oddly enough the pipes I got from RARE were made in Canada, a long trip back and forth for them!

Got my LBM's and exhaust from RARE as well. Used Por-20 on all of it and not a speck of rust 3 years later.

I was in a rush and used Eastwood header coating on my RARE round port long branch manifolds. I wouldn't recommend it. The manifolds will be taken off soon and I'll end up sending them to be ceramic coated.

Well got my 44lb package! I want to put flowmaster 44 mufflers and crossover pipe dumping out in the factory location duals. Maybe I need to give r.a.r.e a call......

Isn't por20 heat sensitive? I was thinking of using a kbs product on them.

I bought the pint and have well over half of it leftover. A little goes a long way and I used 2 coats. POR-20 is heat resistant, perfect for LBM's and exhaust. I coated my entire exhaust system with it. Looks really nice when your under the car.

I used POR 20 as well, goes on like a dream and yes still had half a can left over, which I use as touch ups.
Had a little rust come thru underside but the west coast has a lot higher humidity in the winter than CO. Now I have two coffee cans with light bulbs under the hood to keep the humidity down as the shop is only heated on an as needed basis.
