The "car" seems to have no real direction in mind, is controlled by an unseen person, and makes fools out of a bunch of "cows" who simply follow the "car" obediently without thinking....the definition of a herd.

Having grown up on a farm with cows, pigs and chickens, I can tell you that out of the bunch the pigs are the smartest, then the cows. I don't know that anything is dumber than a chicken.
If you can call one cow home the rest will follow.
