Very cool. Every time I see cars like that it still amazes me that GM dumped Pontiac and not Buick.

Nice ride, very nice. It's hard to get much cooler than than owning a first gen and a GTO.

Can you tell us more about it? Where did you get it, original motor etc..?

The GTO is all original including the convertible top and paint is from 1965.It is an original convertible, 4-speed 3x2bbl tri power car it is a California built car with California emissions the color is Charcoal blue.
I also have my 1967 Firebird 400 coupe that I have owned for 38 years and to think the guy I bought this car from owned it for nearly 49 years!
he was really sad to sell the car but seemed fine until the ramp truck showed up and then he got really sad and hugged his wife as it drove away on the tow truck.

You dog...that's exactly what I am sniffing around for...how much did you have to part with to bring it home?

90.00 for the tow and a 10.00 tip

At least the guy can rest assured it will go to a good Pontiac home. Congratulations on your new car- it's rare to find these survivors intact like this. Great job!

Some of the Buicks had some funky trim, but personally I'd take a '70 GSX over most of the GTOs.
