I think it's a deluxe and non deluxe thing, there's another member here with 68 deluxe bench that has arm rest. Best part is that covers are available now. Good luck I hope someone needs this, getting mine redone in a couple weeks

I guess 68 doesn't have the fold down arm rest like the 69?
That's what I was told. This was pulled from a 68 many years ago, and it looks like it was never touched. It's super clean.. even smells like a '68. lol... seriously...

THanks... needing the funds for other things right now, although I would love to use it in a "custom" car. Just have little room to store it right now. I was going to lightly blast the tracks, coat them in a satin clear, regrease them... and then just use it. I already replaced the missing side hinge cover too. Thanks for the posts guys...
took a deposit on it, almost had it sold, guy's wife got mad... so I still own it. Hard to believe it's still here. Anyone looking for a super clean original front strato-bench seat from a '68? See pics in this thread...
Besides potentially lighter weight, what is the attraction of a front bench seat? I thought fewer of them showed up on the f bodies?

Not interested personally, I think they make more sense in the A bodies or larger.

Well-- keeping it positive here... and just maybe someone will come across it who is looking for one. Maybe you guys can spread the word for me. It is a SUPER-NICE looking bench seat from a '68. How often do you come across that today?
One sold on ebay awhile back for $400, so you might want to try there and catch the small market. Someone tried selling one for $300 on the websites, and couldn't sell it. I could go get one for $300, but don't care for the look. Rare doesn't always mean Big sale!! High demand means big sale! Good luck!
What I say is "Rare does not necessary equal Desirable"

My buddy has had one for years that he hasn't been able to give away. Granted, it's in pretty sad shape but still. Hey just tell everybody it's for a Camaro Yenko. Ultra rare. That should do it.
