Curious to see what brand tire anyone is running on their old school 14" rims.

I am interested in running a set of 14x6 rally II rims. All I find in a 245/60/14 tire anymore are BFG T/A radials. Are there no other manufacturers of this size anymore? I know the demand is not what it use to be back in the 80s-90s for these tires, but seem to be erased from the charts.
Uniroyal,Dayton,Cooper,Dunlap

Thanks for any input.

Drop down to 235's and you get a few options:

Try not to use 60 series tires on 6 inch rims. I've got 235-60-14's on the back and there is little sideways stability. I can push on the car at the back and it moves easily back and forth. The 70's in the front don't do that. When I first put them on I noticed a weird sensation when going around corners. I can't wait to replace them when I have some extra cash. Luckily I got them cheap from a friend.

I think the best size for 14X6 wheels is 215-70-14 if you can find them. The 205-70-14's on the front are a little small looking but are actually close to the stock size. I put 225-70-14's on my 69 goat which are readily available in TA's. They might look a little big on a bird.

My 2 cents...

Yes I see Cooper still have a 235/14. I dont have anything against BFG's, used them many years. Just wanting to try a new flavor.

These will be going on a 64 Lemans i purchased. I have a set of vintage American Racing 14x7 200s rims that look good on the Lemans, or a set original 14x6 rally II's that belong to my 68 Bird I could put on it. Either set needs new tires, just wanted to see what others are running on their 14s.

I run 15" rally II's or 15" autodrags on the Bird, depending on what kinda night on the town she wants to have..
