I want to start a Chicago area FGF Club. I can't imagine anything more exciting than a show with 100+ FGF cars, or a cruise like the Cannonbird Run that was done a few years ago, done right here in the Midwest. I invision a club with members from anywhere in the world with a passion for first generation Firebirds - with a desire to join a Midwest club for shows and events.
Please let me know if you would be interested in a Chicago Area FGF Club, and IM me if you would like to help.
Thanks,
Ken

I am 3 hrs. north of Chicago but I would drive down for a meet any time. A hundred + cars would be great but it would be fun with even half of that. Hell, even getting a couple dozen fgf's together for a run or show would be great. Count me in for any further info.

Thanks Hank, please send me an IM with your e-mail address and I will include you in future e-mails about getting together.
That goes for anyone else that is interested too.
Thanks,

I wish you the best of luck with this. I am in the Dallas Tx area and want to let you know that even a show with 50 or less cars would be a huge success. Do not under estimate the difficulty of getting 100 cars and owners together at one time.

If I don't sell mine, I might be interested. I'm just east of Hank.

I've. Been seeing a lot more in the St.louis area lately more than I have in a long time, not sure where they are coming from all of a sudden. Probably could get closer to that number combining with the st.louis area and meeting half way or alternate

We have gotten off to an excellent start with our club. We have 20 members now, and are gaining momentum. Please look at our pictures and a video on Facebook under "Midwest First Generation Firebird Club"
Thanks,
Ken

Two month's later and the club is rolling along! We just set-up our on-line store for club t-shirts, sweatshirts, Polo shirts etc. If you are interested in joining our club - now is the time to speak up if you want a shirt. Everything is at cost for our menbers since we are a not-for profit club.
I need to send out the link, so send me a PM if you are interested. The only requirement is a love for First Gen Firebirds!
Thanks, Ken
