I have heard that Trim Parts molded carpet is pretty nice quality and fit. Trim parts price is 185.85 retail.
Ecklers price is 129.00 and today they are having 14% off. That made it 111.79. Most of Ecklers items never seems discountable but the carpet was today.
That is a very good price. Just checked out their website. But they do not have teal color listed. I know Al Knoch has the correct teal color. I may need to go back to those creeps one more time. Paid $125 + shipping for my coupe carpet from them.

Whats the quality difference from Trim Part and Ecklers?
They are the same product. Trim Parts makes it, Ecklers sells it.
ACC and Trim Parts have very good quality. Al Knock is also good, but their customer service suks!
Some of the lesser brand carpets are not as good.

Eckler's Firebird's or their Rick's Camaro line? Or does it matter?

I got an e-mail saying mine had shipped out. It will go into my "stash" as the interior install will be after paint. Someday.

I know, bringing this back to life, slap my hands later...lol I was getting ready to buy the Trim parts carpet from Ecklers and didnt see anything mentioned about the carpet having a high beam light swiitch grommet. Can anyone who bought this confirm if it has one of those grommets with the Trim parts carpet or not?
I thought I would give a little feed back on the Trim Parts carpet
The carpets fit and finish is not bad. I had to trim about 1in from the front for it to set right over the front seat bracket bolts. The carpet is a little bulky and a little to big over the transmission tunnel.
I talked to my upholster about it and he stated most of the formed carpets really don't fit well today. I told him about the carpet of the transmission tunnel being to big and bulky from the padding.
He stated that when he gets the carpet in the first thing he does is remove the padding from the carpet. Then he glues down the padding to the cars floors and gets it look nice. Sometimes he uses some additional jute padding.
Then he fits the carpet in gluing it down to the jute. He can get a better finish this way.
I like the idea but sometimes I don't know if I want it glues so it can be removed easier if need be.
Anyway, I wish I had know this tip prior I might have done it this way to make it look better. However, after the console and mats are in, you will probable never notice it being big.
I searched Ecklers and couldn't find any Trim Parts cartpet, or any listed at $125 like these posts mentioned. I then found black Trim Parts carpet for a 69 at AutoParts Warehouse for $61.00. Seems almost too cheap to be true, but read good comments here about Trim Parts quality. Says its the 80/20 cut pile from Trim Parts? Think I should order? Any questions I should maybe call and ask them?
