I put a mic on the factory sway bar I have just to the right of the bushing and it measures 11/16th" inches. Seems small but it is the factory bar. What are the sizes of the sway bars for a 69?

11/16 is correct for 68/69. I upgraded mine years ago to 1 1/4", - what a difference!

My 1969 firebird ta has a 1" solid front sway bar from the factory. They did not come with rear sway bars. Pontiac thought 1" was good.

Thanks guys. I found some bushings on evilbay to replace the 46 year old factory ones. Going to leave it stock since this is not a race car. Just a 100% factory car.
