I’ve examined several threads regarding Vacuum line routing but I still have questions. I have a 68 350 HO with a 1970 Quadrajet off of a 400 engine. Transmission is automatic. This is what I have so far:
TVS switch D = to distributor vacuum advance
TVS switch C = to front of carb
TVS switch M = (not sure where this goes)
TVS switch F1 = (I think is says F1) is capped
Air cleaner thermostatic switch to manifold port on intake in front of carb
Hollow stud passenger rear of carb is capped (AC not working)
Rear of carb, fitting off of power break booster hose is capped
I also have a capped port coming off of the passenger side of the carb. Should this go anywhere?
Thanks for the info. However, it appears that the 350HO is different from your 400HO. My TVS only has 4 ports, see above. Maybe I have the wrong TVS??? Not sure if it makes any differece but I have the ST300 transmission.
The diagrams I have from both the '68 Pontiac Diagnostic Manual and a Chilton Manual show connections for the five ports (plus the vent port) on the TVS for all V8s. Since the Pontiac Service Bulletin 68-T-2 essentially looped two ports together on many models, perhaps a later replacement part relected that change and reconfigured the ports??????????
