Hi. I'm looking at a complete 1967 6-cylinder Convertible w/ abt 60k miles. Currently it's been sitting for a couple of decades, but been inside a lot of its life. It has been sitting, but should run with the std maintenance issues required to 're-boot' a static car.
The body needs some work, but not bad (door & qtr panel dents). The car does not appear to have any rust. Glass looks good, as well as the bumpers & chrome.
Interior is fair, but complete with only one rip on the passenger seat. The top seems good, but with a foggy rear window.
The car will need a full restoration, but it's not a difficult full resto.
But a general SWAG for a '67 'vert with a 6, I'd say $4k to $6k if it doesn't need major cancer repair.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Thanx. That's kind of the range which I was thinking. If I was to restore it up to a 'like-new', not quite concourse, but excellent condition, what do you think a reasonable, realistic price that someone would actually pay?
Value? Cannot really help you much there, I have not kept up with it much. The Sprint model had the OHC six with 4 bbl carb. Much more than that, but you get the idea...
Getting back to your question of value. Is it numbers matching? Will you restore it to *like-new* stock? Are you familiar with PHS? If you plan to keep it stock you will want to get the PHS documentation. Cal
