Gets boring with being laid off and to broke to buy the panels I need to be working on so I decided to do something with a couple old hoods laying around, all 18ga metal needs a little tweaking to the driver side to get the points exactly the same them figure how I want to lay the sides over to blend into the hood, maybe a 2" extension on the rear over the cowl. I'm not out nothing if it don't turn out and gets scrapped but I'm kinda digging it

Cool Jerry, I 'm thinking about a mod on a 350 hood as well. I think I'll cut each side o the raised area of hood.. from the front point (beak) to the windshield, form two filler pieces to weld in. It would be a lot of work but one of a kind cowl induction hood.
