Is there a telltale way to know which you have? I have a 67 but I'm confident it had a front end collision and some of the front body parts were replaced. I would like to put a repop 400 hood on there but need to know if I have to replace the latch

Yes, there have been several threads in the past with pictures showing the difference in the shape. On my phone or else would link them.

Thanks Harold. That's perfect. I seem to have the 67 setup. In the linked thread, Thomas Brandl (the German who used to hang out here) is convinced you can use the 68/69 hood with the 67 latch. Anybody have any first hand knowledge on this?
