Just throwing ut out there
another Cannonbird run would be fun, but I have no Firebird .....but I as Geoff said, have had life happen too....divorced ,remarried, moved (within same city), retired , (but still working)...sold my Firebird 3 yrs plus ago, (to the mechanic had worked on it often (he know what he was buying, whe he found out I was selling it ,he called and asked "how much, ? I want it" I drove it to him , he gave me a paper bag w cash!...but bought another car, my 74 Alfa Romeo...(Mrs Robinson....I'm sure most understand where that name comes from)..4th owner...other 3 were in Los Angeles area, where it was sold...111,000 miles when I bought it...600 on rebuilt engine.. (now it has 123k. =13 k on rebuilt engine). It was re painted to orig color 23 yrs ago by prev owner , the rectangular side markers removed by him, Euro spec small round side markers added up front , Euro rear bumper and lic plate lights).....I know , most FB owners probably could care less about an Alfa, but I think its a nice little car...not as powerful as a bird, but close to same weight/power ratio as this car is light...and I get 26 MPG! even though premium gas...car was originally a SPICA fuel injected car but previous owner added Dellorto carburators (Italian Webers, so it uses Weber parts)...still part of HALF group...they all call mine the "Mini bird"...lol
