I was checking with my parts supplier for an aluminum radiator and a water pump for a '68 400 (AT) He recommended the Northern Factory (Minnesota) aluminum rad. (2 core, 1") and the PRW (Riverside Calf.) aluminum water pump. I'm not familiar with either one but the prices were reasonable. Anyone have experience with the above?

Not sure what an aluminum water pump gets you beyond an insignificant weight savings. Cast iron is sturdy. The impeller design is a different story.

Thanks...I was going for the Cold Case and Flowkooler but thought I would check these out since I've never heard of them. Again thanks.

I had a cold case on my 69 350 a/c car. It had the condenser on the front and it would always creep on highway speeds.sometimes up to 230. I ran a 195 thermostat and the cold case radiator and problem solved. Ran on rte 80 this summer when it was 90. Maybe it got up to 200-202 at 65-75 mph. That was 25 minutes out and 25 back. I just picked up another one for another car.
