Hey Guys, looking to buy the right mirror for my car, came with some kind of vintage chrome one that doesn't look bad, just know its not right. Just wondering if round or rectangular are correct, seen both looking through pics of 68's?
Anybody run a passenger side?

Early 68's had a round left hand rear view mirror. Mid January, I think is the consensus, they switched to the rectangular style. Neither came with right hand mirror but there were many "dealer installs" of matching right hand mirror.

Agreed, I have the square remote and the right square that was sold from the dealership /w actual box with part no.

According to my 68's body tag, car was built 4th week of October, would that be Oct of 1967? So then round mirrors if that were the case?

Just remember if you add the Right Hand side, since they did not make one specific for it, you will need to be setting in the driver seat and have some one mark the mirror were you can see out it. The left and Right position on door will probably not match exactly.

I had the small round mirror on my catalina. I Put a large square mirror on drivers side and put The round one on passenger side. Remember, the mirror adjusts for a left or right install. You simply push mirror out

You simply push mirror out Depends on seat adjustment. To far foreword front or back and you may not see in the mirror at all.
