Looking for the grille braces (3 of them) that attach to the lower bumper and support the front grilles. I also need all the grille mounting hardware. Found the set for $55 but looking for a lower price possibly. Needing the inner fender skirt brace to firewall both left and right. Also, when looking under the hood at the firewall, there's 2 holes where the subframe bolts can be seen on driver and passenger sides. These holes are open to the cab, how do I close them off? Thinking we'll fab something to cover them... Any ideas? I can't find any sheet metal to cover these holes. Any help will be much appreciated!
Your mid-point (firewall) subframe bolt locations did not leave the factory open to the cab. If they are - you have had rust issues.
If it just LOOKS like that is an opening into the interior - venture underneath and you will find it is not (or shouldn't be).

These are the holes, sorry for the bad lighting. They definitely look like they were cut at the factory. I've looked up other firewalls on 67's and see these holes open. Shouldn't they be sealed off from the interior?
After I went back and looked again, I was mistaken. The holes are only open on the firewall as inspection holes. The floors are solid, thankfully. We've been building this car for awhile but every day is a new one with things we haven't come across. Thanks guys
My Firebird will be hauled here to AZ soon to occupy it's 5th garage since I purchased it and took it apart. I find myself lying awake at night wondering if I accidentally left or lost parts during the latest move.
I know I have done that already one or 2 moves back. Despite me always moving my Firebird parts myself, the box with my original door handles and leftover original exterior nuts and bolts got lost.
I realized the other night that my metal oil drip pan is missing for this move.

Oh man, five moves? That'd be tough for sure. Hope it goes good and you dont lose any on this trip. I had all my stuff in one shop and managed to keep track of it but have since moved everything to my dad's shop but keep alot of parts in my house and shed. So now its the question of where the heck is that part at?! And I've duplicated parts orders thinking I don't have the parts, just to find out I do when I go looking for something else...

I track my expenditures on an Excel spreadsheet. One of the benefits is it reminds me of what I have and have not purchased. Hard to keep complete control over small items over the length of a 20 year restoration.
