Hi All-
I bet someone has already done this research....whats the widest BFG Radial TA I can fit on a 14x6 Rally II (JC code) wheel?

I have 225's on mine with no issues. Not sure about wider yet.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
I feel like I am diagonally parked in a parallel universe.

I have had BFG 235s on a 14”X 6” Cragar in the past on the front of my 69 (stock suspension and height) no problem. The tires may have looked a little pinched at the rim but not too bad. I finally went to 225 BFGs in front but they are a bit shorter. I think I would have been OK with the 235s and may even go back to that next time.

I am running 245X14 BFGs in the rear on a 7X14 1 inch reverse offset wheel. It fits perfectly.

I know it doesn't help but I ran 245/50/14 bfg on 7" rally's for the longest time. They really had to squeeze them on there. They didn't last very long but they really did look cool as [censored] whole they did. Ran 235/60s for the last couple of sets on the 7" rims. They fit a lot better and I got a little more ground clearance.

I got 235/60/15 all around on my 69 vert, came with the car when I purchased it. Have problems with the front right rubbing when making left hand turns. But now I need to replace the front tires. Don't know if I should go with a 225/70/15 for a little more room on the front?

Talked to Coker...they said the BFG Radial T/A 225/70R14 is largest and popular for the First Gen 14 x6 RallyII , but if I wanted to go 235, the 60R14 would work. But the 60R14 wheel width range is 6.5"-8.5". My Rallys measure 6" interior to interior wheel wall. Maybe I don't understand tire fitment, but seems like the 60R14 wouldn't fit, right?

They start to bulge a bit because the middle is held by the wheel width. You can put just about as wide a tire on as you want, but they won't lay flat and will look odd. (and wear fast)

Also, stay clear of Coker. Go to Diamondback. They have redline radial T/A's. If you don't need them right away, they generally have a sale around the first of the year.
