Good afternoon all! I haven't been on this site in a while, but I'm looking for some guidance or recommendations which I'm sure you are the right group to provide. A little about myself first. Retired from the Army at the end of 2014, after 23 years of service. During my Army career, in 2002 I acquired a 67 Firebird convertible - approximately 72K miles on it - with the desired goal of being able to restore it one day. As we all know, life gets busy and things keep getting put on the back burner. Unfortunately, I'm now in a position where I won't be able to restore it to its former glory. What I would like from y'all are any recommendations or suggestions on good places to list a project car for sale. The convertible top was shot long before I bought it, so there is a lot of rust and body work to be done. I've had it sitting on a trailer since I purchased it. I've also collected some parts over time anticipating the restoration, like a restored back seat and center console. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or recommendations you can provide.

Jim

You could list it here on this site. Photos would help immensely, and an asking price.
Ebay could work. Bringatrailer.com works. Hemmings. Performance years.
Project cars generally do not sell for much, especially if not protected from the elements.
And thank you for your service!

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

Get the PHS docs on the car. Buyer needs to evaluate the opportunity. 67 vert could be a good op. Sounds like it's in poor condition. It all hinges on what the car was when it was born. Pray for 400 or better engine with awesome colors and lots of options.

Thank-you for your service.

Thank you for letting me know about the PHS docs. I'll get those ordered. I had pulled some information before and after I bought the vehicle, but don't know where it is now. It was in poor condition when I bought it. I was young then.

Thank you. I'll get some current pics the next time I go out to where I currently have it stored. I've tried to keep it covered, but the weather hasn't always participated in that effort.
