I had the floor pans replaced in my'69 Bird and when I went to put the seat belts back on and I can't find the mounting hole/location for the retractable front seat portion of the belts. Can someone send pictures of the location (before carpet on preferrably) and ideas how to resolve this? I have managed to put the rest back together. Thanks

This is the driver side mounting location for a 68, which should be the same as a 69 (someone correct me if Im wrong). You will see that it is just behind the seat pedestal. BTW, where are you in IN?

My 69 has them about three inches behind the seat pedestal on the inner rocker panel. Looks to be the same as Joe's 68.

I am in Fort Wayne. Been working on it for a couple years and now that it's getting to the point where I can drive it I need the seat belts.

both right. I need to verify but think I am missing the passenger side front. I have the retractable portion and the upper but not the two buckles.
