Wonder if anyone knows exactly where the outer wheel well attaches to the quarter panel? My car has detached outer wheel wells with new quarter panels so I’m not exactly sure where they are plug welded onto the quarter. Photos would be great, but basically I’m asking, are they flush with the quarter panel wheel opening or is there a margin? Thanks.

Drill 5/16" holes in quarter panel lip about every 2-2 1/2" & plug weld.

Thank you for the information. Perhaps I’m asking the wrong question.
This is what I’m currently dealing with. A complete thief of a body shop installed new quarters onto my car and really butchered the inners and trunk extensions. My issue is when I do my mini tub and outer wheel well, I’m not exactly sure where they line up.
Basically, is where these outer wheel wells lining up correct or do they need moved? Thank you.

Well in your pic it looks like the B-shop left the lip from the old qtr. panel, which was welded to the outer wheelhouse, then tried to attach it to the new qtr. panel. If I'm correct IMO replace the outer wheelhouse when you do your mini-tube install.

That’s what I’ve been doing. It’s a lot of work but one side is done. Thanks.
