Yep, I had two previous '68's that came with dealer added trailer hitches. And stupidly I ripped both of those off first thing and tossed them. They are worth a fortune today!

That's a very cool historic photo. Although we didn't pull a camper, your picture reminds of using my '68 for tent camping many times back in the 1970s.
I did have a bike rack that I would clamp to the bumper and haul a couple bikes. It never did any harm to the bumper or trunk lip where it was secured.
