I have this horrible gap/fitment problem with the side marker lights and the valance/fender extension (see pic). The original was bad; I bought new extensions and valance and that was even worse. So my question is, does the front valance and fender extensions from a '67 Bird directly bolt on to my '68 400?
I don't want to go with a Camaro valance... I live in Iceland and wouldn't trust this mod with anyone here, including myself .
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Short answer is no, the 67 does not have the wrap around turn signal/side marker lamps. After market sheet metal always needs some kind of massaging to get fitment correct. I'd take a look at all the mounting points for the fender and extension first. You may have to loosen up a lot of bolts to move things around. Be careful of the paint.
Sorry but I forgot to add one vital bit of info. I'm going to get rid if the '68 wraparound side marker/turn signal light setup.
I have Dapper headlights with the turn signal built in so I'm going to cut holes in the '67 fender extensions and put in another style turn signal/side marker combo or just use the '67's parking light location.
So if the mounting points are the same, I'll just go with the '67 parts.
Thx and sorry for the missing info.

I have a decent ‘67 GM valance. The repops are junk. Bought one for my ‘68 and threw it away. Valance is yours for the cost getting it there. I assume freight would be expensive and who knows if it would arrive in one piece but willing to try.
