The Coop in Oregon City. It's a new shop but they do great work. By chance they've done several Firebirds. Our is the 3rd and they now have a '69 Camaro in the shop.
So many cars, so little time and money... 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe 1967 Firebird 400 Coupe(in progress)
Maaco in north Portland did an amazing job on my 67. They did a great job, for way cheaper and much faster than I was quoted at 3 different restoration type paint shops. I thought I might as well check out Maaco to see what the cheapest quote I could get would be and they surprised me. They actually do a lot of older restoration type paint work. They showed me pics of a 68 Firebird they'd recently done and a 69 with video they have on youtube.
I did all the metal work on my car, replacing lots of rusty panels and holes. What Maaco had to do was sand it down to bare metal then a lot of bonds and sanding with of course the paint. It turned out incredible and I can barely believe it's even the same car.
