Ready to mount my rebuilt 400 into the subframe of my '68 and realized I have the correct motor mounts but I do not have the motor mount brackets that bolt to the subframe (this car had a chev 350 in it when I bought it so those brackets are no help to me).
I see these are available online from a few places for $75-$100 without the bolts! Also I'm in Canada and most US retailers insist on UPS for another $68 in shipping.
Figured there has to be someone with a used set kicking around who might be willing to part with them for a reasonable price...? I certainly don't mind sanding/ painting them so long as they are structurally sound..
The problem is that is not a 'wear' part. So it is expected to last as long as the car and stay with it. I remember when I swapped out the OHC6 for a V-8 I had a hard time tracking the V-8 brackets down. I eventually grabbed them off a parts car. Fleabay? Franks Pontaic parts? .This guy has free shipping, check it out. Mounts

Thanks for the offer! And apologies for the slow response here.. after hunting around locally I was able to source a set from a guy who was in the process of an LS conversion and just tossed me the ones from his car.
I had already procured the 326 from his car for parts a few years back, lucky he still had the brackets!
