Sooo…I sent a PM to Geoff a few months ago cancelling my Premium member status. I was charged the annual $25 in August. I THOUGHT I cancelled the auto-pay from my PayPal account, but apparently did not. I did cancel it after that August payment.

Today, I got a notice from PayPal that FirstGen was again paid $25! 2 payments within 3 months?

WTF?!

$25 ain’t a big deal, but…I don’t even own a Firebird anymore!!! I sure wouldn’t mind getting that 2nd payment refunded.

You should see the two transactions for this year refunded. You had already cancelled so there was no further actions.

Not sure how your’s was changed to quarterly. Will monitor to make sure it does not occur to the other 13 subscribers.

For the 13 other subscribers, post here if you want your’s cancelled. I do understand since I had to change the ad strategy since subscriptions cover a fraction of the costs to host this these days.

For the ads, I hate them. I am getting old and want to be able to have a self sustaining site so someone would be willing to take over when I die. It costs roughly $2300 year plus your time, technical knowledge, and a bit of programming skills to update the custom scripts (Body Tag and VIN analyzers) as the coding language changes.

It has been a passion since 1996 to grow this site to what it has become. Could not do it with all the experts to answer all the questions and the moderator support. Activity has slowed but there is a wealth of information here.

When you are ready to let it go, get ahold of me. My company does this sort of thing. I'd be willing to take it over to keep it alive, even if it is just for the wealth of information here.
