Not sure what recommendations you need. If it is where to get the part, there are two different ones. One has a round hole and one has an oblong hole for the shifter, the round hole is for the shifter that does not move to the side to act like a ratchet shifter, I don't know what year that came out. I have it on my 69 with the TH-400 trans. I got mine with the oblong hole from Classic Ind because I live close enough to go pick it up and avoid the shipping cost, all the other places sell them also. You have to take the console apart to replace it. here are the two different ones from Classic
