1) I dont know, but I do think so... 2) I bought a "firebird can" on EBay, later found out that same bottle manufacturer made them for several car brands....you can buy for another car manufacturer ( I think it was Chrysler and some other, maybe Ford? that used the same as Pontiac??) and apply the decal...no morefilled bottles are for sale by the parts houses... it will be easiest to find the red replacement bottle than the one originally came with the car...it is also 'correct' as it was the replacement already in 'those days'....look at EBay , check the GM bottles ,then check out the "others" , the "others" ususlly sell for less.... (wish I had known at the time....I bought mine for $105)
and yes, you can find empties for less money too, just use for show....I actually carry a "fix a flat" in my glove box , to use in lieu of a spare tire anyway...just have to space saver instead of regular spare (for looks) to 'save space' LOL
Barry, do you know what cars used those? I saw a picture of one of those with a Pontiac label but don't know what it was used on. They were not on '68s.
