does any one know what these wires are by the alternator ? i have a thick red too the alt , blue , blackwhtie . then i have a green wire , blck with two whit lines , and a small black wire
those last 3 wires are cut does any one know what they go too ? i looked at the wiring diagram but i am still unsure ?

i think they go to a idle stop and a idle stip an the small blck one i dont even know ? u guys tell me ? what is a idle stip ?

I got curious. That's a typo on the colorized version on the website's posted '68 wiring diagram. Comparing it to my book, that "Idle Stip" is actually the Temperature switch. (the dark green wire)
