I am intersted to find out IF I had some of those made , is anyone interested? I will try to find out if I can get them made in metal ,like the originals.
Bjorn, I am sure you could easily sell them on Ebay at the very least. Go for it. Just make sure you can keep your unit cost down as much as possible (obviously).

From own experience, I know that this part is sought for by nearly every first gen owner in this country, so I would probably be able to sell a couple, at the right price.

Bjorn, That is certainly a sought after part and it would be great if a metal repro became available. Just recently I was able to obtain a good used baffle and have been restoring it. I will soon replace a fiberglass repro that's on my '68. I wanted to point out that the parts catalog shows different part numbers for the '67-'68 (9789451) and the '69 (9796251) for the "valance/front panel to sheetmetal baffle". I don't know what differences there are between them but that may affect your project. Jim
