Exact to the T .Sure i would? doesn't tell anything about the 3:55 nodular rearend i pulled out of it though does it? I heard it was a option for it if wanted .
I came across a '69 Sprint Convertible last year, manual trans, one of 54, for sale locally. It was a shame it was rusted so bad it could barely stand on its own four wheels, and the owner still wanted $4500 for it. I guess it sold, because it isn't there any more.

Maybe and this is only a thought, since a couple people on this post with real 67 Sprints have already said their tag does not have the 3H on it, obviously 3H is not for Sprint. Maybe the 3H is for the side Stripe without the HO in it which could be ordered on any Firebird, I know the 326HO had its own Stripe. That would explain the 3H code on Firebirds built with non Sprint engines in it. Now if a 326HO car has a 3H then maybe 3H is not for the Stripe and maybe something entirely different.
Maybe someone who decifered these codes years ago with bad handwriting wrote down Stripe for 3H and someone else took it to mean Sprint, after all Stripe & Sprint are each 6 letters long, human error and then it gets printed and everyone takes it for being correct.
Someone should see if the 3H Firebirds had the side stripe marked off on their PHS.
Again this is only a thought and I have no solid info to say this is what happened.
I am compiling a list of as many '67s as I can get info for. So far I have 3 of the 3H cars. All are body 22437 or 22637 on the body tag, none are 22467 or 22667. It's not enough data to come to any conclusions, but it hints that H may be for an option that was standard with the custom package but not with the standard model. It could be the entire "Decor" group, which is group 3, which consisted of pedal trims, Deluxe wheel discs, and Deluxe steering wheel and would have been included on a custom trim car. It could be stripes. It could be a lot of things.
I have sheets on a couple of Sprints, and 3H is not on their tags. I have sheets on a couple of HOs, and it's not on their tags. It's not on cars known to have a nodular rear. I don't have enough info to see if there is a correlation to factory hood tach. If anyone has a 3H car, please join in this thread or PM me. Crazy, would you be willing and able to forward the data plate info and the PHS options list?

Don't know if this helps any but the rusty 67 in my backyard is 22637 326 2bbl Hdtp w/Deluxe interior, no 3H. Only option codes on tag are 2WGU, no wheel covers specified on PHS so it must have been a dog dish cap car originally. Only options on PHS are AM Radio w/front antenna, stereo tape player (now in my 68), door edge guards, console, ps & E70x14 White Stripe Wide Ovals.
