Drew you are gonna really love your 700. If it's your first OD, you just WAIT until you are on the road and you manually shift between 3rd and 4th a few times. 'Tis worth all the trouble...
You engine sounds like it is gonna be so killer.
I've been tempted to do the dash swap but I'm such an old fogey traditionalist. (And I've got the decent Poncho gauges in the dash so I wouldn't gain a whole lot. I do want a trans temp gauge, and that has to go somehwere. (Consider getting a nice big cooler for your 700.)
Brett: In for two - got it. You're welcome. FGFs rule!
It'll be my first OD in this car! All my daily drivers have had OD. My wife's 02 TA turns 1800 rpms at 75mph with 3.73 gears!
I'm planning to install the Transgo shift reprogrammer kit to allow manual operation as well as auto with a billet servo, .500 boost valve, and a 3-4 servo.
I have the Transgo kit. There's a key step in the kit that allows tranny fluid to pump even when the torque converter isn't locked up. (Can't understand why GM wouldn't want it this way in the first place.)
Thanks, but I have plenty of decent MOFO pictures without the 3 shadows. Alas, none of them grabbed me by the curlies. I wish it were more than a 12 month calendar, but so be it.

Yeah, Scott. I agree. Even though my car is the first in line in the mofo picture, the overall picture aint all that. Actually, none of the pictures of the mofo meeting are anything to speak about. The problem was that it was a lousy time of day to take picture. Recall how we had to jockey the cars around and stand just right to get half decent light?
It can be hard to get a good picture of a car. Right after I buffed the car, I tried to take some pictures of the car. The metallics seem to go haywire, I guess because of my antique digital camera.

Ash is such a kind guy--isn't he? I guess if Smitty started dry humping the pavment when he saw my car, wait until it's fresh out of the body shop with the wally world rattle can touch up paint.
I recall taking a few shots of your Red, White and Blue birds when I was down year before last. Are these the ones you are talking about? Brent Block 68 350 Coupe Edmonton,Alberta,Canada http://firstgenfirebird.org/show/closeup.mv?CarID=378
