Thank you Scott, Got mine to day.looks like good quality product. The only thing I wanted more of was "nick name" or Real name and places where picture's was taken. Bjørn K
I was a little overwhelmed with details though. Soliciting information like captions etc, would have been one more round of things to collect and finalize BEFORE the purchase deadline of Feb 25th.
For security reasons, I wasn't crazy about publishing too many locations. As you can see, there's no license plates in the pix.
If I do this again, maybe I can streamline the process so it's not the back-and-forth grind it was this time.
I'm glad you like the calendar. Sorry about the shipping expense, but I'm glad it didn't take forever to get to you.
Scott, it would take 6-8 days for air mail to norway ,dep on weekend etc... you mail it, 1 day at p.o., one day to NY, one day to London (where they sort for Europe), one day to Norway, one day within Norway , one day to deliver..and if a weekend in between? plus I m` not sure if they deliver on saturdays there, they dont in Sweden..

Yes Scott, I know how Scandinavians are and I am proud of it.Thanks to Jim I know understand LMAO and others. What I realy want, is names and places for the mont's of this calendar (November is covered)If those of you who are on the calender, don't want to go public can mail me at: pontiac@broadpark.no And Scott I hope you will take the initiative in making the next year's calendar. Bjørn K
Bjorn K. I am proud to say that mine is miss May also the misses June! the May pic is taken in a rich neighborhood in Houston called River Oaks...took it the last week of the calendar pic requests.. the June pics, the pic upper left is also in River Oaks , different place, the upper right is from Memorial Park here, the lower left is also in River Oaks, the lower right is on west side of Houstons Downtown ( the now famous Enron building just got left out on the right side)...all pics taken the same day...nice winter weather in Texas!
Do you remember what you wrote on the export tag? You know, gift, value etc...? And, did you send air mail? Please, don´t feel bad about it, it is not your fault!!
Bjorn, December was my car and that was taken at the city hall square in Duncan, Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada. Home of the largest hockey stick in the world and City of Totems. Next time I'll try to fit all that into one photo
Got mine Monday Thanks!! I think its funny that you did a great job of mailing them and stamping the envelope about 20 times "DO NOT BEND" and it comes folded in half. No worries, didn't crease it and I just layed it under something for a couple days.
19TA69 - I can get you one but the price jumped-up a bunch. Probably $24 - $28 or so. The calendars were printed on sale at Kodak's OPhoto.com. They aren't on sale anymore. If you're still serious, let me know.
Hheheh Knuts, Yeah I guess I went a little "nuts" stamping them. I made an effort to get some cardboard for inside, but none seemed to be available. I'm GLAD they flattened out!
I "think" I'm missing payment from these guys. No, I'm not perturbed, poop happens, maybe they paid me and I didn't mark it down correctly or something. I've been trying to be thorough, but, I'm human.
I'm guessing we all should work on "glamour shots" of our birds for the next calander. I know I'm going to take one of the rear of my Bronze Bird where you can just barely see the tail lights through the smoke from the rear tires...
Hansi - I'm glad you brought it up - yes of course you get first choice of any leftovers. (Some folks have started asking for them but considering your circumstance...) Worst case, we can reorder them, but at a higher cost. I KNOW you aren't accusing me, but I can show you my postal receipt for "a package" going to Norway on 5 March or so...
Greg - I think if anyone is going to do the calendar again, the calendars will have to be on sale. The regular price is $19.99 plus all that shipping... Yikes! But I agree -
Thanks a lot Greg!!! Not too much worry yet though, It probably was a "package"(I ordered five) so it takes a little longer than Bjorn´s one which was light enough for first class mail. By the end of next week I will really start worrying
Scott, also regards "next years" Calendar ,it may be nice to get 'other cars' next year ,no repeats....right? no matter how nice the pics are,its nice with a 'fresh look' , other cars... just my 0.02
so this was just the "first generation" of First Generation FireBirds calendar!
