OK Supply power to one side of the switch and attach the other side, by wire, to the kickdown prong on the trans. You can get your power source from any of the prongs in the middle of your fuse box. Nothing tricky. I would test the switch position first by either using a meter or a light. You want the switch to be made just about when your 4 barrel kicks in. Or something close to that depending on your preference.

Does anyone have pictures of how a 67 original kick down switch plunger connects or contacts the carb linkage?

I have an original switch, but I don't see how the plunger makes contact to the carb linkage.

Thanks, I think my plastic plunger stub has broken. I only have about 1/4". Looks to be more like 1 1/2" in the photo.
