I bought my car last year, and due to house remodeling I just got to tear into it. I have found alot of good to include the engine is #'s matching. I started digging deaper to find that it has a intake manifold # 9799068 and a carb #7028273 from what I can tell from the web this is a 400 RA II carb, and possibly a 1970 400 intake. Am I right? How rare is this carb?

1968 350 coupe

The carb is for a 68 and 69 Firebird and GTO 400 Standard Trans Ram air 3. They go for good money. Like about $1200 good.

The one I have after looking again is #7028273 XX 0569 - in Great working order. I guess I'll look for a buyer and find the right one for my car

The intake you need is a 9794234.

7028273 is a GTO RA II as well

Worth about $2500 to 3 grand (maybe more) if it has the correct 68 date codes during GTO RA II production.

Date 0569 is 56th day of 1969
