I am getting ready to paint my 67 convert trunk. How much of the trunk do you paint with the spatter paint? anybody have pictures of thiers? Thanks Louie

I think you paint everything you can reach, except the backs of the tail lights.

Louie, Make sure you put some clear coat over the Spatter paint or the rust can come back. (Spatter paint is not water proof)

I used less than 2 cans of splatter paint and one can of clear coat. Maybe order 3 cans of splatter paint to be safe?

There is one company that sells on ebay that makes a spatter paint that you spray with a paint gun. Comes in a quart can... I think it's water prrof as it's more of an oil based paint I believe (been a while since I read their ad?) so don't quote me...

I used three cans ...a week after the first I found out it wasnt 'water proof'... shocked LOL
got 2 cans more , plus the clear....did it over... wink

I wanted to hide some rust pits in my trunk floor so I ended up using 4 cans.

2012 Mustang Boss 302 #1918, Competition Orange. FGF replacement
2006 Mustang V6 Pony, Vista Blue. Factory ordered.
2019 BMW X3 (Titled to the wife, but I'm always driving it for her. So I'm claiming it)
Old projects, gone but not forgotten:
1967 FB 400, original CA car. After 22 years of work, trashed by the guy who was supposed to paint it. I had to sell it.

I POR-15'd first, primered over that (before the POR-15 fully cured), then sprayed with gray/white trunk splatter, then realized it was the wrong color mad , then the correct aqua/black followed by clear coat.
