Personally I think a GB win helps Favre. Didn't Rogers play/learn under Brett? I don't know, I am asking. Not much of a football fan but definately a Favre fan, greatest QB of all time IMO (based on my limitted knowledge of the game)...
Don't get me started on Favre..... Over-rated self promoter. Thought he was more than the team, and lost more play-off games on his own than won. Show me another Hall of Famer who only has 10 less career turnovers than TDs.... Was so great that he won one Superbowl,, Same as Trent Dilfer... He's an arsehole...... Wife fighting breast cancer while he is in his hotel room with team massage girls. What a class act....

I'd be willing to bet my life that this applies to 98% of ALL pro athletes. I honestly beleive that ANY and or ALL women who marry these guys, do so SOLELY for the money. Because they can not be stupid enough to think these guys are going to be faithful. If they do think that, then they are complete idiots!
Oh yeah, and my pick for all time over rated QB would have to be Jim Kelly from the Buffalo Bills. If you make it to FOUR Super Bowls in a row, and can't find a way to win one of them, you are a complete waste IMO! They are still the laughing stock of the NFL and rightfully so...
Green and Gold it is. That was a great game. The National Anthem was butchered and the half time show was a joke in my book. I must be getting old.
I agree, the only talent that shwoed up was both teams players. Even the commericals we're so so. I did like the Chrystler commercial for Detroit though. Great city and to think of what they've been through... it's about time for a comeback!
Great game. Glad GB won. I agree, National Anthem was a total butcher job, noting but screaming. Half time show as long as you turned the volume down and only watched Fergie it wasn't too bad.

Couldn't have said it better. Lot of us in this area loved that spot.
The half time show is never what it hyped to be. The only good it does is give the teams twice as much time as usual to nurse their wounds before the second half starts. Glad the Pack won and glad it is all over. Maybe now things can get back to normal around here. And I agree with Robert, Favre never helped anyone but himself. I disagree with Earlybird though, I think there are a lot of pro sports players who do there jobs and then go home to there wives and families. We only hear about the ones who don't.
Wasn't that a great game! I was thrilled to see GB win, and even happier to see AR get the MVP (something bert finkle never got). And to answer the question, no, BF didnt work with and train AR. Lots of stories about it, but the fact is that BF was a diva by the end of his career didnt even dress in the same locker room area as the rest of the Packers.
The best part about the GB season this year was that it was a true..TEAM effort.. everyone had a part, and they went through so much to get to the highest plateau for their profession.
Anyway, great game, great ending, and once and for all the whole BF era, saga can completely be put to rest. Elvis has left the building!

What impressed me the most was the way they plugged holes after injuries. I read somewhere that there were only about 7 players left that started in the SB that were starters on opening day. Now that's a talent pool! Great job!
