I've been having a hell of a time trying to get info on the trim rings used on the 68's with Ralley II wheels.
I did a search, but most of the pics and other links are long dead. The pics attached are what we have assumed for the last 20 years to be the car's original rings. They have the brushed finish.
Can anyone tell me if these are actually the correct ones? I understand that there were changes made to the clips, from four on the outer edge, (like mine) to several that are located closer to the inner edge.
What you show there have the correct gripper clips. The fronts look correct, and should have a brushed finish, but it's hard to tell from your pictures. If you have the correct ones, why are you looking for more?

Still doesn't look right to me. Maybe someone can look up that part number for '69 fgf. I'll admit I'm not as familiar with '69 parts, but your original post said '68 firebird, and those are 100% NOT '68 fgf.

You would have to look in a '68 parts index. The later one that I have ('75) shows the one-size-fits-all-14x6 trim ring, which is like the ones you just got on eBay. Genuine GM, but not from the era of our cars.
The four rounded clips are original. The others are not from the era of our cars.
