Hi all, I am in the process of building a set of 1968 #16 heads to install on my 350. I bought the heads as blank castings so I need to buy all the parts to build the valvetrain. I want to make the valvetrain adjustable and I understand to do that I can install SBC (or BBC?) rocker arms studs. But there are so many variations I'm not sure what I need. Since all I have is a blank casting I don't have a reference for the dimensions of the studs. I believe they should be 7/16" studs, not certain, but could someone provide me with the other critical dimensions required to order the correct studs, such as effective stud length, adjuster thread depth, screw-in thread depth, base diameter and thread? Or better yet if someone could just provide me with an ARP part# it would be much appreciated.

Yes I am. Do you know the dimensions of the rocker arm studs used in #16 heads?

I used arp 135-7101 bb chev studs in my 6x-8 heads on recommendation of my machinist. They worked great for me. Not sure what dimension might be different for your 16's .
